21 Days of Prayer & Fasting

If you don't know the reward of something, then you won't be able to be in expectation of what doing it will bring. You need to be in expectation for bible results when obeying what the Bible tells us to do.

Proverbs 14:34

The righteous are those in Christ Jesus and those that obey the Lord. Righteousness exalts and brings blessing. What do righteous people do? What is right. How do we know what is right? God's Word.

Psalm 112

The Righteous shall flourish! Righteousness is where you will see the blessing of God.

Psalm 37

Delight in the Lord. A time of prayer and fasting is delighting in the Lord. You are pushing the plate away and choosing Him instead. Communing with Him in His Word and in His presence. The Lord delights in every detail of your life.

Romans 8:26-28

We don't always know what to pray, but the Holy Spirit does. The Holy Spirit knows what is in your Spirit and what is in Father's Spirit and He will go and make intercession for you. Even though you don't understand what you are praying, you are never wasting time. As you do, you are praying the perfect will of God and scripture says, ALL things are working together for your good.

2 Corinthians 5:17

One of the proofs of redemption is to live a righteous set-apart life. If God's Life is in you then you will desire to. You are not who you used to be. You don't act how you used to, but you need to renew your mind.

Your desire to draw closer to the Lord has to move past 'just a desire' and into an action that produces change in your life. You have to be serious enough that you are willing to make changes to draw close to God and remove anything that is holding you back from going all-in with Him.

What do you gain when you consecrate yourself to God?

1. Divine presence. The presence of God will make all the difference. His presence will set you apart. Exodus 33:14, John 8:29, Psalm 91
