21 Days of Prayer & Fasting
The Word of God is what nourishes your spirit, renews your mind and your thought processes. You cannot fulfil that without a daily intake of the Word. The things that we do for God are out of obedience and love for Him, but the Word is our nourishment and how we grow.
You cannot afford NOT to get the Word of God in you! Proverbs 8:35-36 Says, "he who finds me finds life and obtains favor from the Lord but he who fails to find me injures himself". Jeremiah 15:16 says, "I found your Word and I ate it and it was the delight and joy of my heart". Proverbs 4:22 says, the Word is "life to those who find it.. health and healing to all their flesh". You have to find it!
The quality and the quantity of the intake of the Word of God is what will determine your outcome. You can choose what kind of outcome you want for your life. When you choose the Word, you are choosing Life and Life more abundant!
The Word of God in your heart and in your mouth is always going to confirm your victory. If you have the Word, your victory is always guaranteed.
Deuteronomy 30: 10-20
v 19-20 You can choose what life you want, life or death, choose life. "You can make this choice by loving the Lord your God, obeying Him, and committing yourself firmly to Him. This is the key to your life."
Matthew 22:37-40
The first and great commandment: Love the Lord your God with ALL your heart, all your soul, all your strength, and all your mind. Love your neighbor as your love yourself.
Benefits to Wholehearted Commitment to the Lord:
1.) God will show Himself strong on your behalf (2 Chronicles 16:9). He is strong to those who are loyal to Him. He expects loyalty from you because He is loyal. God is faithful to the faithful.
2.) Answers to your prayers (John 15:7) The secret to answered prayer is to abide in Him. The more you abide in Him, the more your prayers will be inline with Him and the more effectual they will be.
3.) You become fruitful (John 15:5) Without Him, you can do nothing.
4.) You will be full of joy (John 15:11, Isaiah 12:3) With joy shall you draw forth water from the wells of salvation.
5.) Blessings (3 John 1:2, Isaiah 55, Psalm 84:11, Psalm 35:27) Blessings spirit, soul, and body. Not just needs met, but desires fulfilled.
6.) Direction (Proverbs 3:5-6, Psalm 119:105)
