Day 8: Effective Prayer: Part 2 | Kingdom Minded
Keys to Building an Effective Prayer Life:
1) Confidence (continued from part 1)
Ways you Build Your Confidence:
I) Righteousness-Consciousness
II) Knowledge; Knowing God
III) The Holy Spirit gives us boldness
2) You Must be Kingdom Minded
When God means everything and everything means nothing, God will give you everything. We must be Kingdom minded. Seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33
Seek means aim. Aim means you have your eyes set on a target. Aim and strive after first-of-all. Being Kingdom-minded shouldn't be an after-thought.
When I favor God's Kingdom, He turns His favor loose in my direction.
2 Examples:
1) Solomon; 1 Kings 3:5-15
2) Nehemiah; Nehemiah 2:1-8
When your prayers are Kingdom-centered and not self-centered, God will give you more than what you asked for.
He who keeps my commands, he it is who loves me; and he will be loved by My Father and I will love Him and manifest myself to Him. John 14:21
When you really love God and have a passion for His Kingdom-advancement, you will not need to sweat in prayer because even before you ask, He will answer. Isaiah 65:24
