The Righteousness of God - Part 2
Forget about your old life and the busyness of life, talk about the Word of God. Let His Word fill your mouth!
How can you be sure to do all that the Word of God says if you are not careful to observe all that is in it? When you're in it, then you can be quick to do it.
Job 9:2
What mortal man can be right with God?
II Corinthians 5:21 AMPC
It's the word of righteousness that sets men free. It leads them out of satan's dominion into the freedom of the Son of God.
When you understand righteousness then you will understand healing. It's all one package.
Religion can never make you righteous, Jesus did it all.
Matthew 9:1-7 NIV
No one will go to hell for sin. They will go to hell for rejecting Jesus.
The more Word you hear, the more your faith grows.
Hebrews 2:14-15
The Good News of the Word is an antidote for ignorance. Lack of knowledge is an enemy of faith. Ignorance of God's Word is the weapon of the kingdom of darkness.
Colossians 1:13-14
When Jesus presented His own blood before the Throne of Grace, our Redemption was settled. Everything that justice demanded was accomplished.
Romans 3:21-26
We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. You simply believe that Jesus shed His blood for your sins. You cannot do it on your own. He supplies the Way to be made right with Him.
Matthew 6:33
Seek first the Kingdom of God AND His righteousness! Right standing with Him and His right way of doing things!
When you find righteousness, you find it all! Righteousness is the key!
Romans 14:17
The Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost!
Righteousness is the ability to stand in the Father's presence without the sense of guilt or inferiority.
In Romans, Paul said God unveiled a new source of righteousness. What the law and prophets tried to accomplish by the blood of bulls and goats, the righteousness of God was accomplished by faith in Jesus Christ. Simple faith in Jesus carries the tremendous power of righteousness.
Romans 4:25
Hebrews 9:12-15
This is not temporary.. Jesus secured eternal redemption. If you mess up after being saved, you confess your sin and He is faithful to cleanse you of any and all unrighteousness.
When we shift all our focus off of what we do and on to what God has done, it does not cancel out the keeping of the commands of God; as we put the entire weight of life on what He did, we confirm it. God doesn't respond to what we do, we respond to the Word of God.
The sinner has a legal right to eternal life through the blood of the Son of God. Your old nature died with Christ and your new man has risen with Him.
