Being an Effective Witness for Jesus
Being an effective witness for Jesus Christ is ministry that all believers have been given by God to reconcile others to God through the gospel. The Holy Spirit empowering us, regardless of our age, gender, past, or personality to be accompanied by boldness and miraculous signs. Because of this gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit, we can all share our faith confidently and carry the power of God to transform and change others' lives.
2 Corinthians 5:17 The moment we are born-again and become a new person, Christ gives us all a ministry of reconciling others to God.
The message of reconciliation is a message of the love of God. We convey God's love rather than judgement. We don't tell people they are going to hell but rather that because of the free gift of Christ, they don't have to.
As ambassadors for Christ, the Holy Spirit indwells our innermost being and personality, so we are equipped to be an effective and powerful witness regardless of whether you feel like you can. The Holy Spirit empowers us to overcome insecurities or shyness—He makes us bold!
